City Quadrant NW
Community Established 1972

Silver Springs lies on the north bluff of the Bow River and provides a view of Canada Olympic Park and the mountains to the west. Although a number of country residential homes had been built earlier, the community of Silver Springs actually began to develop in the early 1970s and was fully developed by about 1980. As the plans intended, the prime land uses in Silver Springs are residential development and major open spaces.
